CONGRATULATIONS!

 JOB WELL DONE!

Given the fact that many people would say that there is no money out there due to the economic slump, we have been able to raise a good amount of money towards our reward trip this spring.

Last year, we started the fitness challenge and raised about $1500.00. This year, we included some other incentives. We tried, we learned and next year we shall be even better. Still I believe we had fun and earned our money this year.

The totals are not fully in yet as there are still some pledges to be returned. Please bring your money in asap.

A lot of work went into making this activity successful and so I want to add a special “Thank You” to the fundraising committee ; John, Sandra, Kari, Jen, Gerald, our sponsor committee and especially the cadets who did all  those sit-ups and push-ups.

I would also like to mention that we will soon be asking cadets to sign up for summer camp. We want to host an information night  about camp opportunities and the camp experience for parents and/or guardians. Summer camp is an exciting time: Cadets from across the region and sometime s, from other parts of the country and world get to meet one another. Camp offers  challenging learning opportunities  and cadets will  make memories to last a life time. Please keep your ear and eyes open for this announcement, it will be coming shortly.
